Methodology
Computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI) were conducted in Spain using an online panel provided by the marketing research company Netquest, which maintains a panel of approximately 70,000 unique respondents in the country. A non-probability quota sampling method was employed to obtain a sample that closely approximates the adult population (aged 18 and older) in terms of gender, age, and region. Sampling quotas were informed by expected response rates across socio-demographic groups. To address underrepresentation, additional respondents were recruited within the limits of the available panel to fulfil the predefined quotas. A weighting variable, based on these quotas, is included in the dataset.
Data collection commenced with a soft launch (N = 270) conducted from January 9 to 12, 2023, followed by the main fieldwork period from January 12 to 20, 2023. Fieldwork was conducted by Netquest, in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR) and the ESOMAR guidelines for market and social research.
The final sample comprised 1,500 respondents, yielding a response rate of 63.3%. The average questionnaire completion time was approximately 20 minutes.
The questionnaire was jointly developed by the RadoNorm project and MERIENCE, an environmental and SDG consultancy based in Barcelona, Spain, which also provided the translation in Spanish language. Data analysis was performed by SCK CEN in Belgium. Data are available at: DOI:10.20348/STOREDB/1179/1309
